Date Yourself in PDX is a series that we wanted to create to tell you, our friends and followers, where to go when you want to enjoy a date with yourself in and around Portland. We want to encourage you to take time this summer to truly DATE YOURSELF because, in the words of our reverend RuPaul, “If you can’t love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love anyone else?”

Treat yourself, take time to yourself, drink cocktails and eat hors d’oeuvres by yourself this summer…because sometimes the best companion is simply just YOU!

We’re starting out this journey with a trip to the Portland State Farmers market on Saturday morning. Pack up your tote and grab yourself some juicy berries, a bouquet of peonies, or farm fresh eggs. This is one of my favorite solo activities on the weekend! :)

Head up to Walton Beach with your friends or solo! Go stand up paddle boarding, enjoy some refreshments or take a dip! On the way back stop by Columbia Farms to pick some berries in season from June to August, more details on their website!
